All said, a nice, clean copy of this book that looks at the works of a modern Japanese textile designer who incorporates sixteenth century dyeing techniques into his luxurious kimonos. 147 pages with numerous color photographs. Text in Japanese and English. Tomoyuki Yamanobe, Japan's leading textile historian, served as General Editor on this project and contributed essays.
