The scarce dust jacket is edge-worn, chipped, rubbed, and a bit discolored. Protected now in a Mylar archival sleeve. Slim, little book, 39 pages, with illustrations by Fritz Krebel. Based on a story the author heard from his father about the fate of six Eunson children in a small Wisconsin town on Christmas, 1868. A 12-year-old boy gives his five younger brothers and sisters away to families on Christmas Day after his parents die. The author Dale Eunson, was a magazine editor and fiction editor of Cosmopolitan, where this story originally appeared. Its success led to a dramatization for radio and film rights for a motion picture, which became All Mine to Give in 1957. A television adaptation aired two years earlier in 1955 during the Christmas season on the series Climax! (later renamed Climax Mystery Theater).: 09640:
