Publication date not stated, but 1918 per Cary Sternick's "The Henry Altemus Company: A History and Pictorial Bibliography," (2005). Cloth spine split along the rear cover side. Edge wear, worn corners, and a small piece of the green letter "O" in SAMBO on the front cover is missing. Hinges just starting to crack. A child's name is written in the ownership space printed on the front free endpaper. Otherwise, the pages are free of any writing, but some show a slight soiling. Sixty-three pages followed by four pages of the publisher's ads for the series, Wee Books for Wee Folks. Full-page, color illustrations. The illustrations are not credited in this edition, but they resemble author/illustrator Bannerman's illustrations in the original 1899 edition.: 09121:

This edition is a single-volume reprint of Cresset Press' 1930 two-volume, limited edition of 200 copies. Generally regarded as one of the masterpieces of book illustration in the twentieth century, all of Rex Whistler's illustrations are in this edition, as is the complete, definitive text of the 1735 edition, which included Swift's final corrections and revisions.: 08853:
