Stapled, pictorial cover, 8 X 11 inches. Light edge wear, rubbing, and a few faint, small stains or brown spots. The rear cover has a tiny edge tear. The staples are rusted and have stained the spine around them (a very small amount). A story in rhyming English verse about seven scared and rebellious scarecrows. Not paginated, but about 25 pages with illustrations by the artist's son, Lazar Obican, of whom a brief bio appears at the end of the book, written by Margherita Webb. Sir Herbert Read wrote the Introduction, titled: The Art of Painter and Sculptor Jovan Obican.
