Foreword by Charles Schreiner, III (Y.O. Ranch, Kerrville). Following the foreword is a song (lyrics) from Red Steagall--Horses and War. Photographs of Dahlberg's sculptures by Ernest Love. Book is about fine with only a slight bump at the upper corners. The dust jacket has a bit of rubbing to both the front and rear panels and just a trace of soil on the lower edge of the front panel (a few specks). A nice, clean copy in this limited edition designed and printed by David Holman's Wind River Press in Austin, Texas. This is number 301 of 500 copies printed and is signed by both the author and the artist on the limitation page. Additionally, the artist has inscribed the preceding blank page to the previous owners and included a small drawing of a powder horn and pouch. Seventy-two pages featuring thirty-eight sculptures and photographs in color and black and white.
