No date, but before Prohibition ended in December 1933 as indicated by the book's subtitle. Fourth Printing stated. Edge wear. Cover colors are faded and have small amounts of moisture staining. Hole-punched in the upper-left corner, with old, knotted string for hanging on a nail or hook. Page 24 appears to have drink stains (Lindbergh Cocktail?). Small stapled booklet (5.75 X 6.25 inches), 40 pages of more than 200 cocktail recipes, followed by six pages of food and wine combinations and a "Morning After" hangover drink regimen. Art deco period illustrations throughout. Establishments featured include Cocoanut Grove, The Vendome, Brown Derby, Hi-Ho, Embassy Club, Roosevelt. Stars who had cocktails named after them include Douglas Fairbanks, Ginger Rogers, Greta Garbo (Garbo Gargle Cocktail), Jack Dempsey, Jean Harlow, Johnny Weismuller, Charles Lindbergh, Lupe Valdez, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich, and others. And, of course, The Roosevelt served a President Roosevelt Cocktail. Scarce little Great Depression and Prohibition-era cocktail recipe book.
