The jackets are in protective Mylar sleeves now. . Both volumes are from the library of historian and author Edwin Adams Davis, a long-time professor at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. His bookplate, which features LSU's Memorial Tower, is found inside the front covers of each volume.
