Pictorial cloth-covered boards with illustrated jacket. Foxing or staining to the front endpapers and several interior pages. The binding is tight and square. The dust jacket shows some rubbing along the spine and flap folds and also a bit of foxing to front flap and the rear panel. Protected now in a Mylar archival sleeve. 150 pages with black and white drawings. A white bull terrier shows up at the Jansen home with a bullet wound and young Marty Jansen adopts him, names him "the Major," and sets out with a friend to solve the mystery of his past. Collectible in the First Edition and with the scarce jacket despite the flaws.
