Both volumes like new, but the slipcase shows a light pinkish residue scattered among the top, bottom and front. Volume I is signed on the title page: "James Harlan Steele, School of Public Health 1941-42 M.P.H." Steele became professor Emeritus of the University of Texas School of Public Health and was recognized as a worldwide medical pioneer who founded what is now the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. Laid in is a New York Times article about the 350th anniversary celebration plans. VOLUME I is a name directory by last name. VOLUME II is organized into the two sections: Geographical Directory of Alumni ( by state and country) and Alumni by School/Program.
