Slightly darkened around the edges and a small chip in the top left corner, otherwise a well-preserved handbill from nearly 200 years ago. The OCLC lists two copies of this handbill and states that it is from Philadelphia. The new owners, Alexander and Penrose, acknowledge their acquisition with a sale and offer a partial list of their stock of goods, such as Angola Cassimeres, Bombazets and Bombazeens, Irish Popolins, Bengal Chintz and Gingham, and more textiles. The ad goes on to tout their well-rounded inventory with the following items, also reduced in price: Rock and Rifle Powder, Brandy, Gin, Spirits, Molasses, Sugar, Coffee, Tea, Pepper, Alspice, Salt, Fish, etc. Scarce piece of antiquarian merchant ephemera.
