There is an additional fold horizontally and a one-inch tear along the fold mark, resulting in tears on opposite sides of the map when opened. Paper label affixed to front panel of the folded piece. Some peeling in the lower-left corner of the label and the aforementioned tear affects the label on the right side. The rear panel has some pencil notation. Measures 4 X 6 inches folded and about 6 X 8 inches unfolded to display the map. Lines are displayed on the map in color (no legend or key provided). Printed in July 1945 near the end of World War II. The war greatly affected the Métro, limiting services, closing stations, and altering lines to minimize the risk associated with bombings. Postwar recovery was slow and many stations were still closed by the 1960s.
