Reproduced from the original copy of the first printing of the Laws of the Republic of Texas used by the Secretary of State, Robert A. Irion. The original was printed in 1837 by The Telegraph, a Houston newspaper. Modern lithography recaptured some of the copy lost in the original printing because of crude printing equipment of that time. This copy is numbered 529 of a limited edition of 2,500 copies. Brown leatherette with Republic of Texas seal in gilt and all page edges in gilt. Housed in a matching slipcase. 163 pages plus Index.
