Upper-corner crease throughout the program and some soiling on the rear cover, otherwise a nice copy of this rare publication (we find none through OCLC nor in the trade). The Peirce Skating Club formed in 1939 to help meet the recreational needs of Chicago's Peirce School children. Eight-page theatre programme for the perdormance of " Blossom Time," based on the life and music of Franz Schubert. No publication date, but an ad for a Sonja Henie movie (Wintertime) indicates 1943. Cast information and synopsis of scenes carry through several pages, mixed in with local business ads. The theatre opened as the Majestic Theatre in 1904 and had changed its name to Shea's by 1941.
