The tail of the spine is missing about a one-inch piece, affecting the publisher's name. Protected now in a new Brodart cover. The author was a navigator on the B-29 "Umbriago-Dat's My Boy," which is pictured on the rear panel of the jacket. He took part in the first raid on Tokyo, though they never dropped their bombs.
